All our dishes are prepared with pure olive oil which is produced from the trees prominent throughout the region, adding a distinctive taste of Greek food. Try the famous zucchini balls of Mrs Vassiliki, the mother of Dionisis, who cooks at the restaurant from more than 40 years.

Important vegetables of the Greek cuisine include tomato, aubergine, potato, green beans, okra, and onions, all made with the unique Greek way of cooking. A great variety of cheese types are used in Aktaion Restaurant, including Feta, Kasseri, and Mizithra. It is a must to taste, even for once, the famous cock made with local wine and olive oil.
